2011 Revelation : Raneem

Raneem is hands down the revelation of the year 2011 until now. We are now at the end of June, which gives worldwide DJs about 6 months to overcome him in this category, if that’s even possible. You’re wondering why, or maybe you’re wondering who Raneem is?
He’s the guy who stole the show at Beach Club over Sander van Doorn yesterday. He’s also the guy who played amazingly well at Circus Afterhours for the Tytanium Sessions night last Thursday alongside Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson and Arnej. But more importantly, he is the guy that was in the shadows for the normal you and me, for too long now.
My track of the year was Apollo Road up until now. Dear Dash Berlin and ATB, you guys now have some serious competition. The track above is still ID, as he just finished it up last week, playing it for the first time at Beach Club on Sunday. The place literally EXPLODED when he dropped this beauty.

Arnej killed him? Good for you if you liked him better man. We simply express our opinion on a public level, we don’t ask you to agree with us. There will ALWAYS be someone who is better or worse than the other, but that’s just a matter of personal opinion.
We’re not here to start a war about who’s better or worse. WPT is about promoting those that we think deserve it. Arnej and Raneem were both amazing at Circus and Beach Club.
Finally, not gotta argue about this but comments like “get out more often” aren’t cool dude. Debating is one thing, but let’s not bring it to a personal level.
I wont get into who is better i simply had a blast and i have to say that Raneem since the first time i herd him in circus opening for gareth emery early this year i have been ever so impressed. Now i might go to circus just to hear him. Thats how good he is!
Didn’t go to Beachclub, but Raneem was AWEsome at Bal en Blanc!
