Big weekend coming up: Super8 & Tab / Optick !

Whether you’re into Trance, House, or both, you won’t wanna miss this weekend.

Friday, February 25th: Super8 & Tab

#60 on the DJ Mag top100 listing (up 22), the Finnish boys have been around for a while. However, in my whole Trance experience, I don’t remember them ever coming to Montreal. If you’re like me and stopped hitting afterhours (whatever your reason might be), then this is the perfect occasion for an insuline shot of Trance during Club Hours. There is too few Club Hour Trance events in Montreal, so make sure to check this one out.

The opening set will be taken care of by DJ Malek, who I’ve personally heard at Circus. He’s good, so don’t hesitate to go in early. Skipping the lineup and getting some good beat pumping through your veins in exchange, why not?

Tickets are 10$ pre-sale and 20$ at the door. For more info, check the official facebook event page.

Sunday, February 27th: DJ Optick

Coming to Montreal for the 3rd time already in less than 2 years. For those who came to see him the first, second, or both times, you know what he’s all about. He just won the “best romanian DJ” award again in 2010, and he’s back for more ! This time, it’s all happening at Muzique Club. Some of you might be familiar with the “Industry Sundays”, which are broadcasted every Sunday night on Virgin Radio.

Entrance is FREE with guestlist BEFORE MIDNIGHT. After midnight, 10 or 15$ to get in. However, we do expect a big lineup, so make sure to get there early. For more info and guest list, checkout the official facebook event page.

If by any chance you live in or close to Gatineau, QC, he will be at BPM Club the day before, on Febuary 26th !

Finally, we would like to send our condolences to everyone related to Bad News Brown. B.N.B. (real name: Paul Frappier) was a well known hip hop artist in Canada, and many were inspired by his work. It’s not everyday that a rapper can combine harmonica with hiphop. He was found dead in little Burgundy this morning, at only 33 of age. RIP !
