Free outdoor event: Sied van Riel / Cosmic Gate @ Divers/Cité

Regular WPT readers might remember my Bal en Blanc 16 review. For those who haven’t read it, I recommend you do. While reviewing Bal en Blanc, Sied van Riel’s set was still playing in my head. The caliber was so high that night that it would be unfair to the other DJs to label SvR as the best of the night. But he was one of the best, easily and by far.

All this to say that this crazy Rotterdam product is coming back to Montreal ! And this time… It’s FREE. I therefore invite you all at the Emilie-Gamelin parc in Montreal, next to Berri-Uqam metro station. He will be spinning from 7-9pm, and Cosmic Gate (Nic Chagall and DJ Bossi) will be closing the night from 9-12pm, just before hitting Redlite as headliners !

As a warmup, Wizz and Insomnia will take care of us, and they never deceive.

Also, keep in mind that this is all happening as part of Divers/Cité, which is the Montreal gay festival, going on from July 26th to August 1st. Just so you don’t come back swearing at me.

For those of you who gave up on Piknic Electronik this year due to their shitty lineup and idiotic new policies, this is one event that you do not want to miss, especially if you like trance !
