Indecent Noise in Montreal – Review

On Friday, February 17th Tang and I attended Bar Passport in Montreal – their Friday Exotek nights presented Indecent Noise, all the way from Poland. Alex (Indecent Noise) did exactly as I expected – very fast-paced trance and tech trance for hours! New tracks mixed with old classics with a lot of surprises. Alex seems hyper and very very energetic and it feels like he transmits his energy to every single person who attends his events, I really wish there were more DJs like Indecent Noise.

To give you a better idea, here is a little video I made at the event:

This was the first time I visited Bar Passport. It’s located in the heart of Montreal, Saint-Denis/Ontario – the basement underneath the infamous punky Café Chaos. The place isn’t just located in the basement it also feel undergroundish. It certainly has a special vibe and the capacity of only 200 people makes it a lot more cozy and intimate then most clubs in Montreal. You’ve got a room with a bar and the second room with the DJ booth and the dance floor. Coat-check is free although the girl working there did appreciate tips, the drinks are very reasonable priced for downtown Montreal; Jagger shots at $3 and 0.33 Heinekens at $6. I purchased the tickets for Indecent Noise online at $10, the price at the door was $15 – once again VERY reasonable.

Conclusion : Indecent Noise is simply amazing, if you get a chance to attend his shows – DO IT. Exotek nights at Bar Passport are worth visiting and I will most definitely be back
Peace,

Alex
